Varsity & Jr. High Girls Track and Field Coach
Robert Clark is a 20 year Veteran of the US Army, retiring in 2016 as a Staff Sergeant. He graduated from Columbia College in 2012 with a degree in Psychology. Clark’s military service brought him to El Paso in 2012, the same year that he began the Supers Organization, a city youth sports organization that offers team participation in several areas including football, track & field, and wrestling. He remains with the program to this day as Vice President of the organization. In addition to his work running the Supers Organization, he is the owner and operator of Performance Sports Academy which provides strength and conditioning services for many of El Paso’s student-athletes.
Coach Clark is USA Track and Field Level 1 Certified, coaching a 2021 TAAF State Champion in Hurdles, and coached several Track & Field Athletes to the USATF Nationals with 2 attaining All-American status.
In addition to his track experience, Clark is USA Powerlifting certified and has coached 4 State Record Holders in Powerlifting. He also has experience coaching wrestling and is USA Wrestling Bronze and Copper certified.
In 2018 he accepted a position as Defensive Coordinator and Running Backs coach at Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, NM, where the Trojans would claim the District Championship that year.
