Claudia Swann

Varsity Girls Volleyball Head Coach

Joining our program in 2012, Claudia Swann was born and raised in El Paso where she attended Jesus Chapel. For 7 years she played volleyball in school and for club teams. From 2006 to 2009 she garnered All-State and All-City Honors and was named All-City MVP in 2008. In 2007, 2008, and 2010 she competed in the National Junior Olympics. She is now a loving mother to 3 beautiful children, and a 4th grade teacher at Immanuel Christian School. While a staff member at Immanuel, she began as a Junior High Volleyball Coach in 2012. Claudia was a Varsity Assistant Coach in 2013 where she helped coach a State Runner-Up team. In 2014 she was awarded the position of Head Coach for our Varsity Volleyball Team. Claudia was an Assistant Coach for Varsity Girls Basketball from 2015 to 2016 and 2017 to 2018, and continues to coach Club Volleyball at 915 United Volleyball Club.

Iris Reyes

Varsity Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach

Joining our program in 2018, Iris Reyes was raised in the El Paso area where she attended Horizon High School. While at Horizon High School she played Varsity Volleyball all four years of high school as a setter, attaining an MVP award her Sophomore year, and helping lead her team to the State Play-Offs in 2015 and 2016. She graduated from Horizon in the Summer of 2017. After high school she went on to attend El Paso Community College for one year then began attending PIMA Medical Institute, joining their Occupational Therapy Assistant program. As a coach, she has been an assistant coach for our Varsity Girl’s Volleyball team since 2018. She is the oldest sibling of 4 and finds extended family in her Synergy Volleyball family. Iris played volleyball year-round for 7 years, developing her skills in not only high school volleyball but club volleyball as well. She, in her words, "has a deep love for the sport and I plan to spread my knowledge of volleyball to those around me."
